LUKE 22:35

Then Jesus asked them, "When I sent you without purse, bag or sandals, did you lack anything?"

"Nothing," they answered.  - Luke 22:35

It's kind of amazing when you think about it.  While they were following Jesus, the disciples really did not have steady jobs, a consistent place to stay, a way to get food.  That's a whole lot of trust in Jesus.  It doesn't make sense at all.

If Jesus asked me to follow Him today without money, without any of my stuff, without even shoes - would I do that?  I asked our Bible Group that question the other day and I have to say, "I don't know."  I mean, if it was You, I would trust enough at this point to hopefully say, "Yes!"  But, these disciples, they weren't really sure Who this was.

They just followed You!  They had no concern for what they wanted or needed - or maybe they wanted and needed You!
