When He was at the table with them, He took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them. - Luke 24:30
Big fan of communion. That was Your thing, huh? Of all the things you could have done to let them know it was You - you went communion. Maybe that is why it's so meaningful - maybe we both really love the symbolism (or the actual body and blood depending on your religious beliefs. Does that matter to You? I guess I've never thought about how You feel about the whole thing.).
To me, it's the "do this to remember Me" part. One, I think about what it must have been like to be in that room with You. Celebrating one last time together, and looking back later at what happened to make that the last time, I bet they are still talking about it. Two, obviously, what we are remembering is incredible. Not just what You went through hours later, but everything You did was incredible! (Look at me, pointing out to God that what You did was incredible - no duh!)
But, it has always meant a lot to me. Whether it be Coke and a breakfast sandwich or bread and wine (almost more-so with random things because it's just You and me), it's always good to remember me. And what a reveal!
